On our last day in Kathmandu, the team is wrapping up loose ends and doing our final souvenir hunting. We are very happy with our research and even happier to be headed back to Canada.
I am definitely looking forward to fresh fruit, shower water that smells like nothing and milk. I think it will be a little longer before I can stomach anything with rice but I am excited for some fresh fish.
Now we have a 4 hour flight to China, an 8 hour layover, and then a 13 hour flight to Canada. Luckily Sarah has been organizing our welcome home committee so we will be whisked away from the airport as long as the plane arrives on time.
